Intercooler
Removal
1. The intercooler is mounted on supports (separating it from the top engine covers) at the top of the engine (see Figure 14.1).

2. Loosen the clamp at the front of the intercooler and disconnect the air hose going to the throttle body module on the intake manifold (see Figure 14.2).

3. Loosen the clamp on the left rear corner of the intercooler and disconnect the air hose coming from the turbocharger.
4. Loosen the mounting nuts/bolts and lift the intercooler upwards to remove it from the engine. If necessary, you can unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the decorative grille from the top of the intercooler.

Installation
5. The intercooler is installed in the reverse order of its removal.
