Clutch pedal height and free travel





1. Place for determining the tappet play (free running); 2. Pedal height adjustment location; 3. Pedal height; 4. Free play


Checking and adjusting



1. Remove the mat to expose the sound-absorbing material.

2. Check the distance of the pedal from the floor.

3. To adjust, remove the lower trim, loosen the lock nut and turn the bolt to adjust the pedal height. Tighten the lock nut.

4. Check the free play, i.e. the distance from the position of the fully released pedal to the point where resistance to its movement begins to be felt.

5. To adjust, loosen the pushrod lock nut and rotate the pushrod to adjust the pedal stroke. Tighten the lock nut.

6. Check the pedal height and free play again. Adjust if necessary.

7. Check the clutch lock switch adjustment.
