2. Remove transmission.
3. Remove the spring clip from the fork ball joint.
4. Remember what the release bearing mount to the fork looks like, remove the bearing (photo on the left). Remove the plug (photo on the right).
5. Check the condition of the dust cover and spring clip. If signs of wear are found, replace these parts.
6. The bearing must rotate freely, otherwise replace the bearing.
Attention! Do not wash the bearing in solvent.
7. Before assembling, lubricate with refractory grease the recesses under the fork ball joint, under the pusher of the working cylinder and the bearing mounting points.
8. Install spring clip (photo on the left) and lubricate the bearing bush with refractory grease (photo on the right).
9. Install the bearing on the fork.
10. Put the bearing on the gearbox shaft. Pass the fork through the cover, grease the support and put the fork on the support, pushing it until it clicks (photo on the left). Check the freedom of movement of the bearing along the splines of the gearbox shaft (photo on the right).
11. Lightly lubricate the thrust surface of the bearing with refractory grease.
12. Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
