The electromagnetic selector provides engagement of the front axle using a switch mounted on the handle of the transfer case lever. The electromagnetic selector also includes a processor control unit (ECU), an actuator, a front axle position switch, and a demultiplier switch L4 (transfer case low gear), locking switch (on a car with automatic transmission), speed sensor and control lamp for both axles, located on the instrument panel (see fig. Some units and parts of the selector can be checked and replaced independently. The ECU unit is checked at a car service.
