Replacing the front oil seal.
1 - cover,
2 - retaining ring,
3 - automatic all-wheel drive clutch,
4 - oil seal.
Removal
1. Remove the cover.
Note: Do not damage the automatic 4WD clutch.
2. Using pliers, remove the retaining ring.
Removing and installing the rear axle gearbox.
1 - gearbox assembly,
2 - bridge beam.
3. Using a special tool, remove the automatic all-wheel drive clutch.
4. Remove the oil seal.
Installation
1. Using a special tool, install the oil seal.
2. Install the automatic all-wheel drive clutch,
3. Install the retaining ring.
4. Using a suitable mandrel, press the cover into place.
5. Connect the propeller shaft.
