Models before 1996
1. Check the door limit switches (see the relevant section).
2. Check the operation of the light warning relay.
- a) Connect the positive wire from the battery to terminals "5" and "7", and the negative wire to terminals "1" and "4" of the relay.

- 6) Check that the buzzer does not work when connecting battery voltage to terminals "2" and "6".

- c) Check that the buzzer works when the voltage is disconnected from terminals "2" and "6".
3. Check the relay circuit.
- a) Disconnect the wiring harness from the relay.

- b) Check the relay circuit from the wiring harness side according to the table.
Models after 1996
1. Check the operation of the integrated relay
- a) Connect the battery to terminals "1", "12" (+) and "6", "10" (-).
- b) The lamp and sound signal should work for 4..8 seconds.
- c) Connect the "+" of the battery to terminal "7" of the connector.
- d) Check that the sound signal has stopped.
Note: the check must be completed within 4... seconds (defined in item "b").
- d) Repeat steps "a", "b".
- e) Disconnect the negative wire from terminal 6, check that the sound signal has stopped.
Note: the check must be completed within 4-6 seconds (defined in point "b").
2. Check the relay circuit (see Checking the key lock warning system (models from 1996.).
