Fuel pressure sensor
1. The fuel pressure sensor is located on the left side of the fuel rail. This sensor cannot be replaced separately. If the fuel pressure sensor is faulty, the entire fuel rail is replaced.
2. A full sensor check is best done at a Toyota dealership, which has all the necessary equipment, but the following check will help determine whether the sensor is receiving the correct voltage.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the sensor - it is located on the support in the middle of the fuel rail.
4. Turn the ignition key to the ON position and measure the voltage between the terminals in the connector socket with a voltmeter; the voltage value should be 4.5-5.0 volts. If this is not the case, check ("ring") the wiring.
5. Connect the wiring connector.
