Camshaft position sensor
Examination
1. The sensor is mounted on the support bracket on the right rear of the cylinder head.
2. Disconnect the sensor wiring connector, measure the resistance between the sensor terminals with an ohmmeter and check the measurement results for compliance with the specification requirements. If there is a discrepancy, the sensor must be replaced.
Removal
3. With the wiring connector disconnected, unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the sensor from the support bracket (see figure 9.3).

Installation
4. Lightly lubricate the sensor O-ring with engine oil, then install it in place and tighten the mounting bolt to the specified torque. Connect the wiring connector.
