Examination



1. Before checking the fuel level sensor, determine the true fuel level.

2. Remove the tank and take out the pump with the sensor.

3. Measure the resistance of the sensor with the float fully lowered (the tank is empty) and in the extreme upper position of the float (full tank). The resistance should change from 110 (when empty) up to 3 Ohm (with a full tank).

Replacement



1. To replace the sensor, disconnect the connectors.

2. Loosen the side screw.

3. Remove the sensor.
