Examination
1. Connect the (-) terminal of the battery to terminal 2 with a jumper, and the (-) terminal to the motor housing (see Fig. Wiring diagram for checking the rotation of the windshield wiper motor at low speed). The electric motor must rotate at low speed.
2. Connect the ()-terminal of the battery to terminal 1, and the (-)-terminal to the motor body. The motor should rotate at high speed.
3. Run the motor at low speed and disconnect the jumper from pin 2 in any position except autostop. Connect pins 2 and 3 and power pin 4 (relative to the body). The electric motor should switch off in the autostop position (see fig. Electric motor shutdown test diagram in autostop position).
4. If the results of these tests are negative, replace the electric motor.

Replacing the front wiper motor
1. Remove the air intake grille and disconnect the electric motor connector.

2. Loosen the windshield wiper mounting bolts (the bolts are indicated by arrows).

3. Remove the electric motor and disengage the lever from the rod.
4. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the rod.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
