Rear wiper motor rotation test circuit
Rear wiper motor lead resistance test circuit
Rod position when checking the rear wiper motor
1. Except A, B and C
1. Connect () - battery terminal with terminal 1, and (-) - output - with output 3 (see fig. Rear wiper motor rotation test circuit). The motor must rotate in a clockwise direction. Reverse the polarity - the motor should rotate in a counter-clockwise direction.
2. Connect () - battery terminal with terminal 3, and (-) - output - with output 1 (see fig. Rear wiper motor lead resistance test circuit) and check the resistance between the following pins (see fig. Rod position when checking the rear wiper motor):
- in position A of the electric motor thrust between terminals 5 and 6 there must be a circuit;
- in the pull position B, the circuit must be between terminals 4.5 and 6;
- in position C, the circuit must be between terminals 5 and 6;
- in other positions, there should not be a chain between the terminals.
Replacing the rear wiper motor
1. To disconnect the brush arm, remove the cap and unscrew the nut.
2. Open the rear compartment door, remove the trim panel and service port cover.
3. Turn away bolts, disconnect a socket and get the electric motor.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
