Checking and restoring the fluid level in the hydraulic drive of the clutch and brakes

1. Clutch fluid reservoirs (hydraulic drive is used on cars with manual transmission) and the brakes are located next to the vacuum booster.

2. The liquid level should be no more than 7 mm below the upper "Max" mark on the wall of the feed tank.

3. If it is necessary to restore the fluid level, first wipe away any dirt deposits along the contour of the tank cap, then unscrew and remove the cap.

4. Only the recommended brand of fluid should be added. Mixing fluids is not allowed, as this may cause damage to parts and subsequent failure of the hydraulic drive system. It is also prohibited to add fluid that has been standing in an open container for a long time.

5. Before topping up, check the remaining fluid in the feed tank and the tank walls for foreign impurities and dirt particles. If contamination is detected, the system should be flushed and the fluid replaced.

6. After restoring the fluid level, replace the tank cap and check that it fits tightly.

7. After restoring the fluid level, replace the tank cap and check that it fits tightly.

8. If the reservoir is empty, it is necessary to remove air from the hydraulic brake drive (clutch).
