1. To provide access to the bottom of the car, it must be placed on two stands, or lifted with a hoist, or driven onto a pit or overpass.

2. The car must be in a horizontal position and the engine must be warm.

3. Unscrew the oil filler cap.

4. Place a tray underneath, clean and unscrew the drain plug. Drain the oil.

5. Clean and tighten the drain plug.

6. Place a container under the oil filter and lower the vehicle.

7. Using a special key, release the oil filter, then unscrew it with your hands. Immediately tilt the filter and drain the oil into a container.

8. Carefully wipe the area where the filter fits on the engine with a clean cloth.

9. Lightly lubricate the new filter's O-ring with engine oil and screw the filter into place. Hand tighten the filter.

10. First, pour in half the volume of oil, then wait a few minutes for all the oil to drain into the pan. Continue adding oil in small portions until the "H" mark on the dipstick is reached.

11. Start the engine and, with the engine running, check the tightness of the oil pan plug and filter by observing these areas for several minutes.

12. Stop the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain into the pan. Check the oil level again. After filling all channels and the filter, the oil level may drop. If necessary, add oil to the "H" mark.
