Note: After any work involving air entering the clutch hydraulic system, bleed it.
Caution: Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with painted surfaces. If brake fluid comes into contact with a painted surface, wash it off immediately.
1. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top up if necessary.
2. Connect a vinyl tube to the bleeder nipple. Insert the other end of the tube into a container half filled with brake fluid.
3. Bleeding the clutch hydraulic drive.
- a) Gently press the clutch pedal several times.
- b) While holding the pedal down, loosen the bleeder screw. When the brake fluid stops coming out, tighten the screw.
- c) Repeat this procedure until there are no more air bubbles in the escaping brake fluid.
