1. If cracks are found on the blades or impeller play on the shaft, replace the impeller.
2. If leakage is detected from the coupling, also if the rotation of the impeller is too loose or too tight, replace the coupling. On a warm engine, a slight resistance to the rotation of the impeller is acceptable.
3. Loosen the fan shroud screws.
4. Loosen the nuts (indicated by arrows).
5. Remove the impeller. Remove the cover.
6. Loosen the nuts (arrows) and remove the impeller from the fluid coupling hub.
7. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
