4-cylinder engines
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground and drain the coolant (see subsection 2.33).
2. Remove all accessory belts.
3. Remove the fan shroud and fan.
4. Remove the pulley from the pump and disconnect the hoses (see fig. Coolant pump on 4-cylinder engines).
5. Turn away bolts and remove the pump.
6. Thoroughly clean the split plane of the cover from the remnants of the gasket.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Bolts tighten with the set moment.

3.0L engine pump bolts
Torque:
bolts A - 15.6 Nm
bolts B - 16.8 N·m
1. Disconnect the battery from the ground and drain the coolant.
2. Remove the toothed belt.
3. Remove the alternator bracket and remove the thermostat from the pump.
4. Disconnect the N2 cooler hose from the pump.
5. Loosen the bolts and remove the pump (see fig. 3.0L Pump Bolts). Disconnect the hoses.
6. Thoroughly clean the split surface of the cover from seal residues.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Apply a bead of sealant to the surface of the pump. Bolts tighten with the set moment. Be aware that the 3.0L engine pump bolts are different sizes (see fig. 3.0L Pump Bolts).
