Fuel pump and related parts





1. Bracket; 2. Gasket; 3. Hose; 4. Pump; 5. Filter; 6. Spring ring; 7. Pillow; 8. Connector flange; 9. Connector; 10. Gasket; 11. Wire; 12. Fuel level indicator


Removal



1. Perform decompression.

2. Disconnect the battery from ground.

3. Remove the fuel tank.

4. Disconnect the connector and fuel pipes from the pump.

5. Loosen the bolts and, tilting, carefully remove the pump assembly with the sensor.

6. Release the lower part of the pump from the bracket.



7. Remove the gasket, cushion, take out the spring ring and remove the filter.

8. Check the condition of the filter. Replace if necessary.



Installation



1. Assemble the pump and install in reverse order.



2. If the pump is being replaced, remove the clamp and disconnect the pump from the hose.
