Axle shaft parts





1. Mud deflector; 2. CV joint type Tulip; 3, 10. Retaining ring; 4. Inner CV joint cover; 5. Clamps; 6. Outer CV joint cover; 8. CV joint crosspiece (Tripod); 9. Outer CV joint with half shaft


Removal and installation



1. Raise the car and remove the wheels.

2. Drain the oil from the front gearbox.

3. Remove the cotter pin and unscrew the hub nut (ask an assistant to press the brake).

4. Loosen the axle shaft in the steering knuckle with a brass drift (not steel).

5. Detach the bipod from the fist.

6. Turn the knuckle outward by turning the steering wheel and remove the axle shaft first from the knuckle, then from the gearbox. If necessary, move the axle shaft by hitting it with a rubber hammer.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
