1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place stands under the body. Remove rear wheels.
2. Support the rear axle with a jack truck under the gearbox housing.
3. Disconnect the cardan shaft from the gearbox. 4. Disconnect the metering bypass valve spring from the bridge (see subsection 8.10)
5. Disconnect and muffle hoses and tubes of brakes.
6. Remove the rear brake drums.
7. Disconnect the handbrake cable.
8. Disconnect the breather hose.
9. Detach and compress shock absorbers.
10. Disconnect the stabilizer cross member, transverse and longitudinal bars from the body.
11. Carefully lower the rear axle.
12. The bridge is installed in the reverse order.
13. Bleed the brakes (see subsection 8.14).
