Removal and installation



1. Raise the car.

2. Remove the ABS sensor (if provided).

3. Remove the rear brake (see subsection 8.6).

4. Disconnect the handbrake cable and pipe from the wheel cylinder.



5. Loosen the brake shield nuts (indicated by arrows).



6. Carefully remove the axle shaft assembly.



7. Remove the gasket from the bridge flange.





8. Remove the seal by prying it up with a screwdriver.

9. Replacement of the axle bearing is performed at a car service center.

10. Carefully press in the new seal using a mandrel, lubricating the edges.

11. Install a new gasket.

12. Carefully install the axle shaft.

13. Then assembly is carried out in reverse order.
