For a description of this procedure, please refer to chapter 2A, but use the tightening torque values specified in Specifications at the beginning of this chapter.
On V6 engines, two spacers are used to secure the faceplate: one between the crankshaft flange and the faceplate, and one between the rear face of the faceplate and the faceplate mounting bolts. When removing the faceplate, mark the spacers and reinstall them in their original locations, oriented as they were when originally installed.
