Note: Some models are equipped with an additional fuel level sensor located on the right side of the fuel tank. Access to the sensor is only possible after removing the right rear seat.
Remove the fuel level sensor as follows.
Remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly from the fuel tank.
To avoid damaging the fuel level sensor, rotate the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly at an angle.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel level sensor.

Remove the screws and fuel level sensor from the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly (figure 5.15).
Install the fuel level sensor in the reverse order of removal.
