The transmission oil cooler was only installed on all-wheel drive vehicles produced before 2001.

Removal



Remove the lower engine compartment mud flaps.

Remove the front bumper.

Unscrew the connecting nuts securing the hoses to the oil radiator pipes.

Remove the bolts, clamps and oil cooler from the vehicle (figure 9.3).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

When connecting pipelines, replace the sealing rings.

Take the car for a short drive to fill the radiator with oil, then stop the car, check for any oil leaks and check the oil level in the transmission.
