Drive axle shafts
1. Remove the axle shafts.
2. Remove the old seals using a pry bar or special tool.
3. Install new seals.
Speedometer slave mechanism sealing ring
The vehicle speed sensor and the speedometer slave mechanism housing are located at the rear of the transmission.
1. Disconnect the wire from the speed sensor, unscrew the mounting bolts (indicated by arrows), remove the sensor and the driven mechanism.
2. Remove the sealing ring.
3. Install the new ring and reinstall the mechanism and sensor.
Clutch Speed Sensor Seal Ring (6-cylinder engines)
The clutch speed sensor is located on the gearbox housing.
1. Disconnect the wire from the sensor and remove the sensor.
2. Remove the old sealing ring, install the new ring and reinstall the sensor.
