Checking and replacing oil in manual transmission [Toyota Duet M100]

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.

2. Unscrew the filler plug.

3. Make sure that the oil level in the gearbox housing is below the edge of the filler plug hole. If necessary, add oil to the housing.

4. The oil level in the crankcase should not be less than 5 mm of the filler hole.

Caution: Be careful, the oil in the crankcase may be hot immediately after driving.


Recommended oil viscosity according to SAE:
  • Duet — 85W-90
  • Sirion — 75W-85

Filling volume:
  • Duet — 1.3 l
  • Sirion - 2.1 l

Tightening torque of the plug - 54 - 69 Nm
