Checking the oil level in the rear differential
(4WD models)
1. Raise the vehicle with a jack and place it on safety supports.
2. Using a socket wrench or open-end wrench with appropriate attachments, loosen the plug in the rear differential housing (see Figure 21.2).

3. Insert your little finger into the oil filler hole and check the oil level. It should be flush with the bottom edge of the hole. If the level is low, add oil recommended in the Specifications using a syringe or directly from the flexible packaging if it has a special nozzle.
4. Screw in and tighten the cap. After driving a few kilometers, make sure there are no leaks.
