Note: Four-wheel drive vehicles use two differentials, the lubrication level must be checked in each.
1. The lubricant level in the differential must be at least 5 mm from the lower edge of the inspection/filler hole (refer to the accompanying illustration). To check, insert your finger into the hole.
2. If necessary, make the appropriate adjustments by adding the required amount of oil through the filler hole, using a funnel or a hand pump.
3. Make sure the plug is tightened securely.
