1. Operating fluids are the most important element of lubrication, cooling, brake, clutch and various other systems. Since these fluids are gradually consumed and/or contaminated during normal vehicle operation, they must be replenished periodically. Before adding fluid to any of the following systems, read the information in the sections «Recommended lubricants and operating fluids» and «Refueling volumes» at the beginning of this chapter.
Note. Before checking the level of any operating fluid, the vehicle must be level.
