Checking the Temperature Sensor
Pull out the sensor plug. In this case, do not pull on the cable, but on the plug itself.
Turn on the ignition with the help of an assistant and follow the readings of the device.
Connect the temperature sensor plug to ground. In this case, the pointer on the control panel should show the maximum temperature value.
If the maximum value is not recorded, check the connection between the plug and the temperature sensor. Check the electrical wires and connections in the sensor circuit. If the maximum temperature value is fixed, then replace the temperature sensor.
Attention: To prevent leakage of coolant when removing the sensor, first drain some of the coolant into a container.
Screw in the sensor without tightening it too much. Insert plug.
Fill with coolant and bleed air from the system.
Carry out a test drive and check the tightness of the sensor connection.
