Checking the temperature sensor
Remove the sensor plug. In doing so, pull not the cable, but the plug itself.
Turn on the ignition with the help of an assistant and monitor the instrument readings.
Short the temperature sensor plug to ground. The indicator on the control panel should show the maximum temperature value.
If the maximum value is not recorded, check the reliability of the connection of the plug to the temperature sensor. Check the electrical wires and connections in the sensor circuit. If the maximum temperature value is recorded, replace the temperature sensor.
Note: To prevent coolant from leaking when removing the sensor, first drain some of the coolant into a container.

Screw in the sensor without tightening it too much. Insert the plug.
Fill with coolant and bleed air from the system.
Conduct a test drive and check the tightness of the sensor connection.
