Handbrake — adjustment [Toyota 4Runner N120]

1. Adjustment is only required due to cable stretching over time. The vehicle should brake with 7-9 clicks of the brake lever.

2. Release the handbrake.

3. Remove the center section box.

4. Adjust the brake by turning the nut. Check the number of clicks that provide full braking.
