Direction indicator and hazard warning flasher

Examination
1. The circuit breaker is mounted in the relay and fuse box in the passenger compartment
2. Normal operation of the breaker is accompanied by clicking sounds. If one of the turn signals does not work and clicking sounds are not heard, then the bulbs should be checked.
3. If both indicators do not work, the cause is a blown fuse (located in the passenger compartment fuse box), faulty breaker, switch or loose contacts. If the fuse is blown, check for a short circuit in the wiring, and only after this check install a new fuse.
Replacement
Breaker
1. To replace the breaker, remove it from the socket in the passenger compartment fuse box.
2. Make sure the new breaker is exactly the same as the one being replaced.
3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Hazard warning switch
4. Pry and remove the switch from the front bulkhead and disconnect the connector.

5. Check for continuity between terminals 2 and 3 (this is a lighting chain). Turn the switch to the Off position and check for continuity between terminals 7 and 10. Turn the switch to the On position and check for continuity between terminals 5, 6 and 9 and terminals 7 and 8.
6. If the test results are negative, replace the switch.
