- a) Check for continuity between the terminals in each sensor position.
- b) Heat the sensor to a temperature above 60°C in an oil bath.
- c) Check for continuity between the terminals when the sensor is in the "ON" position (float in the upper position).
- d) Check for continuity between the terminals when the sensor is in the "OFF" position (float in the lower position).
If operation differs from description, replace sensor.
2. Checking the sensor circuit.
- a) Disconnect the connector from the sensor and check for conductivity between terminal "2" of the connector on the wire side and "ground".
If there is no continuity, check the wires and the ground point.
