Sorting of valve mechanism parts
Removed parts should be stored in the order they were installed.
To disassemble the cylinder head, it is necessary to remove the valves and associated parts. The description assumes that the camshafts and tappets have already been removed (see subsection 3.1.7 or subsection 3.2.10).

1. Compress the first valve spring using a suitable tool (photo on the left) and remove the crackers (photo on the right). Carefully release the valve spring, remove the spring retainer, spring and thrust washer (if any).
Caution: When compressing the springs, do not scratch or damage the internal holes for the pushrods.
2. Remove the valve and remove the oil seal.
