2. Remove the camshaft.
A) Rotate the camshaft so that the camshaft keyway is facing up.
b) Evenly loosen and remove the ten bearing cap bolts in several passes, each in the sequence shown in the figure.
V) Remove the five bearing caps and camshaft.
G) Remove ten loose leaves from covers of bearings and from a head of the block of cylinders.
Note: Arrange the bearing caps and bushings in the correct order.
3. Remove pushers with adjusting washers.
Note: Arrange pushers in the order of removal.
4. Remove valves.
A) Using the special tool, compress the valve spring and remove the two cotters.
b) Remove the spring cap, valve spring and spring seat.
Note: Arrange the removed parts in kits.
V) Remove the oil seals.
5. Remove the 4 combustion chambers and shims using the special tool.
Note: Position combustion chambers (and gaskets) in the order in which they were removed.
