4. The bearing must rotate freely in the housing.
5. Otherwise, replace the bearing. Do not wash the bearing in solvent.

6. Lubricate the bearing guide bushing and input shaft splines with high-temperature grease.

7. Lubricate the recess under the fork ball joint with high-melting grease.

8. Lubricate the bearing mounting locations and the recess for the slave cylinder pusher.
9. Install the spring clip.
10. Place the clamps on and install the bearing on the fork.

12. Pass the fork through the cover, lubricate the support and place the fork on the support, pressing it until it clicks.
13. Lightly lubricate the bearing surface that contacts the diaphragm spring with high-temperature grease.
