Attention! Models covered in this manual are equipped with an assisted restraint system (SRS), better known as «airbag system». To prevent accidental deployment of airbags, which could result in injury, be sure to deactivate the airbag system before working near components of the airbag system (see chapter 12).
Warning. Wear gloves when working inside doorways to avoid cutting yourself on sharp metal edges.
Front and rear doors
1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery (see paragraph 1 of chapter 5).
2. Remove the latch (pic. 15.2).

3. Remove the set screw to remove the inner door handle bezel (pic. 15.3, a, b).

4. Using a trim remover, pry and remove the power window switch panel and disconnect the electrical connectors (pic. 15.4).

5. Using a trim remover, pry and remove the exterior mirror trim panel (pic. 15.5).

6. Remove the frame of the inner door handle, and then turn out the screw located under it (pic. 15.6).

7. Gently pry the panel and pull it until the latches are fully released (pic. 15.7). Work slowly and carefully along the outer edge of the panel until it is completely released. Disconnect all connectors and remove the panel.

8. To access the outside door handle or power window inside the door, fully raise the glass and then carefully peel off the plastic waterproofing sheet (pic. 15.8).

9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Tailgate
10. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the limiter of opening of a door (pic. 15.10).

11. Using a screwdriver or trim remover, release the latches and remove the trim panel from the tailgate. Work slowly and carefully around the perimeter of the outer edge of the trim panel until the panel is fully released. Disconnect all connectors and remove the panel.
12. To access other elements inside the door, carefully remove the plastic waterproofing sheet.
13. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
