2. A film of road dirt can build up on the brushes, which affects their effectiveness. Therefore, they should be washed regularly with a mild detergent.
3. The operation of the wiper mechanism can cause the bolts, nuts and other fasteners to loosen, so they should be checked and tightened if necessary. Check the wiper blades at the same time.
4. If the brushes are cracked, worn or deformed, or simply not effective enough to clean the glass, they should be replaced with new ones.
5. Raise the lever above the glass, press the locking clip and then remove the brush with the hook at the end of the lever (pic. 9.5, a, b).
