Checking the oil level in the gearbox
A. Inspection / filler hole in the gearbox housing.
B. Drain hole in the gearbox housing.
1. Install the car on a viewing hole, overpass, or on stands, making sure that the car is horizontal.
2. Unscrew the plug of the control hole in the gearbox housing. On cars with a self-locking differential, a plate indicating lubricants and lubrication dates is fixed near the plug.
3. Insert your finger into the hole and feel that the oil level is near the bottom edge of the hole.
4. If the oil level is insufficient, then add the correct brand of oil through the control hole.
5. Tighten the stopper.
