Checking the oil level in the rear axle gearbox [Toyota Corona T190]

1. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.

2. Unscrew the filler plug. Make sure that the oil level in the crankcase is under the edge of the filler plug hole. If necessary, add oil to the crankcase.

Caution: Be careful, the oil in the crankcase may be hot immediately after driving.

Oil class according to API — GL-5
Recommended oil viscosity according to SAE:
- Above -18°C - SAE 90
- Below -18°C — SAE 80W or 80W-90
Filling capacity - 0.9 l

Caution: Use special oil (LSD) for the rear axle gearbox with limited slip differential.

3. After installing the filler plug, check the gearbox housing and axle for oil leaks or damage.
