Examination



Cm. subsection 5.10.1.

Replacement



1. Perform decompression.

2. Disconnect the battery from ground.

3. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.

4. Remove the equalizing chamber.

5. Mark and disconnect the connectors from the injectors.

6. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.

7. Disconnect the fuel hoses from the pressure regulator and distributor.



8. Remove the fuel distributor bolts.

9. Remove the distributor with injectors.



10. Remove the injectors from the distributor.



11. If the injectors are not going to be changed, then replace the rings.





12. Replace the seals.

Installation



1. The injectors are installed in reverse order.

2. Tighten the fuel distributor mounting bolts to the torque specified in subsection 5.1.
