Surge chamber and related parts (v6 3.4L engines)
1. Flow sensor, resonator and air filter; 2. Flow meter connector; 3. Equalization chamber; 4. Hose of the tank with absorber; 5. Recirculation tube; 6. Gasket; 7. Brake booster hose; 8. Fuel pipeline; 9. Rack; 10. Ring; 11. For cars with automatic transmission; 12. Liquid filling pipe; 13. Throttle cable clamp; 14. Tourniquet; 15. Suction manifold; 16. Air hose; 17. Power steering hose
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Disconnect the connectors from the recirculation valve, idle air control valve, throttle position sensor, and canister valve.
3. Disconnect the rods and cables from the damper housing.
4. Disconnect the recirculation tube from the valve.
5. Label and disconnect all vacuum hoses.
6. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the chamber.
7. Remove the busbar connecting to the ground.
8. Disconnect and plug the cooling hoses from the valve body.
9. Loosen the bolts and remove the chamber assembly with the damper body.
10. Clean the split surfaces, install a new gasket and equalizing chamber. Then assemble in reverse order.
