1. Move the selector to all positions, and the lock should be felt. If operation is not felt, or the pointer does not match the designations, then the thrust must be adjusted.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Loosen the nut securing the link to the selector (2) (1 - neutral position).
4. Slide lever (selector bottom) clockwise until it stops, then move back 2 clicks. Set the selector to position N.
5. Tighten the nut to the specified torque.
6. Adjust interlock switch (see subsection 6.2.5).
7. Check adjustment. The selector must be fixed in all positions, and the engine must be started only in positions P or N. If necessary, repeat the adjustment.
