Automatic transmission throttle cable — checking and adjustment [Toyota Land Cruiser J60]

1. Make sure that there are no deformations on the cable bracket, and that the rubber boot is intact and correctly installed.

2. Press the throttle pedal all the way down.

3. The throttle valve should be fully open, adjust if necessary.



4. Check the distance from the limiter (3) to the cover (2) (1 – cover, 4 – nuts).

5. If necessary, adjust the specified distance by turning the lock nuts.
