Note. Before trying to locate a suspension or steering problem, make sure that:
- A) Tires do not have uneven wear and are properly inflated (Chapter 1),
- b) steering cardan joints in the area from the column to the steering mechanism do not have loose connections or increased wear,
- V) the front and rear suspension and steering assembly do not have any loose or damaged parts,
- G) Tires are free from misalignment or imbalance, no rim warping, and no loose and/or uneven wheel bearings.
49. Pulling the car to the side
- 1. Tire mismatch or uneven tire pressure (chapter 10).
- 2. Broken or sagging springs (chapter 10).
- 3. Incorrect wheel alignment (chapter 10).
- 4. Front brake sticking (chapter 9).
50. Abnormal or increased tread wear
- 1. Incorrect wheel alignment (chapter 10).
- 2. Broken or sagging springs (chapter 10).
- 3. Tire imbalance (chapter 10).
- 4. Shock absorber wear (chapter 10).
- 5. Car overload.
- 6. Untimely performance of the rearrangement of tires.
