Replacing the cabin ventilation filter (every 48,000 km or 3 years) [Toyota Highlander XU20]

1. The blower housing has an air filter that cleans the air before it enters the passenger compartment.

2. To remove the air filter, remove the storage compartment (glove compartment).

3. Press on the support tabs of the filter cover (Fig. 17.3).



4. Remove the cover and take out the filter element.

5. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
