
1. Unscrew the wing nut and release the spring clips. Disconnect the hoses, remove the cover and set it aside.

2. Remove the filter element.
3. Inspect the outer surface of the element. If it is heavily contaminated, replace the filter; if the element is partially contaminated, blow it with compressed air, directing the stream from the inside of the element to the outside. If you cannot blow the filter, replace it.
4. Wipe the inside of the filter housing.
5. Install a new filter element.
6. Install the filter housing cover in reverse order.
