Note: The MAF/IAT sensor is located on the top of the air cleaner housing.


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery (see paragraph 1 of chapter 5).

2. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector (Fig. 8.2).



Fig. 8.2. To disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector, press in the locking tab (1) and disconnect the electrical connector, then unscrew the sensor mounting screws (2) and remove the sensor from the air filter housing (v6 model shown, same for 4-cylinder models)


3. Remove the screws and remove the sensor.

4. Remove the sensor sealing ring and discard it.

5. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Use a new sealing ring.
