Note: On 1999-2003 models, the TP sensor is located on the throttle body (On 2004 and later models, this sensor is an integral part of the electronic throttle body and cannot be removed.)
1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery (see paragraph 1 of chapter 5).
2. If necessary, remove the engine cover (see paragraph "Intake manifold - removal and installation" in chapter 2).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the TP sensor (fig. 11.3, a, b).

4. Loosen the sensor mounting screws and remove the sensor from the throttle body.

Note: On V6 models, there is not much space between the TP sensor and the bulkhead, so if you cannot loosen the sensor mounting screws, remove the throttle body (see chapter 4) and try again.
5. Install the sensor by rotating it 30-60° counterclockwise from the installation position (Fig. 11.5), and then turn it clockwise until the installation holes in the sensor are aligned with the installation holes in the throttle body.

6. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
