1. Check the gap in the new spark plugs. If necessary, bend the side electrode to adjust the gap.
2. Disconnect the wires by holding the ends.
Caution: On 3.4L V6 engines that do not have a distributor, remove the corresponding ignition coils to access the spark plugs.
3. Clear the areas around the candles and remove the candles.
4. Check the removed spark plugs and determine the condition of the engine.

5. Lubricate the threads of the new spark plugs with an anti-seize compound, place a piece of hose on the spark plug and carefully screw the spark plug in. Tighten the spark plug to the specified torque.
6. Place the wires on by slightly rotating the tips and applying pressure.
