2. (For models with disc brakes) Remove the caliper assembly and brake disc.
- a) Unscrew the two caliper mounting bolts.

- b) Hang the support on the wire.
- c) Remove the brake disc.
3. (For models with drum brakes) Remove the brake drum.
4. Check the bearing axial clearance and hub runout.
- a) Using a dial indicator, check the axial clearance of the bearing. The maximum clearance is 0.05 mm. If the clearance is not within the standard, replace the bearing.
- b) Using a dial indicator, check the hub runout. Maximum runout is 0.07 mm. If the runout is not within the norm, replace the hub and bearing.
5. Remove the rear wheel hub.
- a) Unscrew the four bolts and remove the rear wheel hub.

- b) Remove the O-ring.
